How we test every slot, where the numbers come from, how the score is calculated and how we make money. No hedging.
Who writes
SlotYeti is edited by a small team, not by a single author. That is why reviews are signed «SlotYeti team» rather than a person's name: we would rather not invent a face to suggest an authority that does not match how the work is actually done.
How we test
Every game is opened in demo mode in the browser, in the language of the page, and played. The screenshots you see are ours, taken from that session — not the provider's marketing art and not files from another site.
Where the numbers come from
RTP, volatility, grid and max win come from the provider's official spec sheet whenever one exists, and every review shows the source at the foot of the spec table. When sources disagree we say which one we follow and why. When a figure is not published, we write that it is not published instead of inventing one.
How the score is calculated
The score is a public formula over verified data: 55 + (RTP − 94) × 8 + the win potential, plus 2 points if a free demo exists, clamped between 55 and 95. It is not an opinion, not a vote average, and no commercial arrangement moves it. Anyone can recompute it.
How we make money
Some casino links are affiliate links: if you sign up through them we may earn a commission. It costs you nothing and it does not change any slot score, which is computed by formula. We also do not accept payment from game providers to write or alter a review.
Found a mistake?
Casino data changes without notice and we get things wrong like anyone else. If a figure is wrong, write to ola@slotyeti.com with the page link — we fix it and the update date changes.
