Play’n GO is the Swedish studio behind Book of Dead, Rise of Olympus and the Rich Wilde series. We list 490 of its games, and 488 of them have a demo you can open here without an account. But the number worth knowing before you play any of them is not the RTP. It is how many RTPs there are.

The same game, five different RTPs

462 of the 490 games we list publish more than one RTP setting. The studio builds each title in several versions and the operator chooses which one to run. The most common ladder, on 175 of our pages, is:

There are 193 distinct ladders across the catalogue — 96.25% down to 84.25%, 96.5% down to 84.5%, 96.69% down to 84.69%, and so on. What almost never changes is the shape: 459 of the 462 have exactly five steps, a headline figure and four below it, with the lowest keeping roughly four times as much of your money as the highest.

What this means at the table

If you play the same Play’n GO title at two casinos, you may be playing two different games. On a €100 turnover the difference between the top and bottom settings is €12 of expected loss — not a rounding error, and not something the game itself tells you.

How to find out which one you are playing

Most Play’n GO games show the active RTP in the paytable or the game’s information panel, usually on the last page. Open it before you spin. If the number there is not the one on this site, the casino is running a reduced build.

What the studio publishes, and what it does not

Play’n GO is among the more transparent suppliers in our catalogue:

• 462 publish their RTP configurations

That is a fuller disclosure than most studios manage. For comparison, two large suppliers in our catalogue publish a maximum win on zero of their games.

The titles people actually search for

Note what the sequels do: Rise of Olympus pays 96.5% with a 2,500× ceiling, and the two later versions trade 0.3 points of RTP for six and twenty times the ceiling. That trade is the studio’s house style, and it is visible across the catalogue.

The famous ones are the single-RTP ones

Here is the part that surprised us when we counted. All seven titles in that table are among the 28 games that declare only one RTP. Book of Dead, Legacy of Dead, the three Rise of Olympus versions, Moon Princess 100 and Tome of Madness each have a single figure and no ladder underneath it. Of the other 21 in that group, twelve are table games, wheels and keno, four are bingo conversions, and five are older slots.

So the rule reverses on the titles you are most likely to open: the classics that built the studio’s name are the ones where the number is the number. The ladders are on the newer catalogue.

The spread, measured across all 490

RTP ranges from 88.46% to 99.69%, with a median of 96.21%. Volatility, where the studio declares it: 233 medium, 192 high, 34 very high, 16 low. There are more high-volatility Play’n GO games in our catalogue than low-volatility ones by a factor of twelve.

Where our numbers come from

Every figure on our Play’n GO pages is read from the studio’s own game pages at playngo.com and recorded with the source URL on each slot page. In September 2026 we re-checked all 490 and found 455 broken source links after a site restructure; they were rebuilt and re-verified rather than left pointing at 404s. One game — KISS Reels of Rock — no longer has a page at all, and its slot entry says so instead of citing a dead address.
