Is Wild Bandito worth playing?

Yes. It’s one of the best-balanced games in the catalogue: a default RTP of 96.73% above market average, medium volatility, and a ceiling of 25000× your bet that is unusually high for that profile. Ceilings of that order normally arrive with punishing sessions; here they don’t.

The caveat comes from inside PG Soft’s own range. Mahjong Ways has exactly the same grid, the same ways count, the same volatility and the same ceiling — with a default RTP of 96.92%. If the decision is made on numbers alone, those two tenths favour Mahjong Ways.

Verdict: an excellent ways slot for ordinary sessions. Pick it for the theme and the pace, not for a mathematical edge — there isn’t one.

1,024 ways to win: what that actually means

Five reels, four positions on each. Instead of predefined lines, any symbol counts as long as it appears on consecutive reels starting from the left, whatever row it landed on. Four to the power of five gives 1,024 possible paths — hence the number.

In practice this removes the frustrating payline moment where five identical symbols sit on screen and pay nothing because one fell off the right path. Here, if they’re on the right reels, they count.

Mahjong Ways is the structural twin: same grid, same 1,024 ways, same volatility, same ceiling — and a higher default RTP.
