Fortune Gems 500 is the most recent entry in a family that now has four titles in our catalogue — and it is comfortably the best resolved of them mathematically. The skeleton is unchanged: a 3×3 grid, five fixed lines, and a fourth side reel dedicated purely to multipliers. What changes is the scale of that reel, which here climbs to ×500 — the number that names the game — against 15× in the original Fortune Gems.

Before going further, the note that clears up the branding confusion: you will find the Fortune Gems family credited sometimes to JILI and sometimes to TaDa Gaming. They are the same platform running the same game IDs, with TaDa being the rebrand for Western markets. These are not different versions of the same game — they are the same thing with two logos.

Is Fortune Gems 500 worth playing?

Within the family, yes, and without much argument. It is the only Fortune Gems that pairs an RTP above 97% with a ceiling that actually means something. What holds the enthusiasm back is what the sheet leaves out. TaDa does not publish the volatility of this title — all the odder given that it does publish it for the sibling Fortune Garuda 500.
